Yokowo Code of Ethics and Conduct

Yokowo Co., Ltd. and Yokowo Group companies (hereinafter, “Yokowo”) will exercise our Corporate Vision and Corporate Mission, and act in compliance with the Code of Ethics and Conduct below and with social awareness to promote healthy business activities.


Code of Ethics and Conduct

    1. Establishing trust
  • Yokowo will take strong actions to encourage fast and innovative management, and will strive to increase profits in a sound manner.

  • Yokowo insists on placing quality first, and is committed to establishing the Yokowo Quality and Brand.

  • Yokowo emphasizes customer satisfaction and will prioritize customer views in its products and services.

  • Yokowo strives to stay honest to all stakeholders, and will release information accurately, quickly and openly.

  • Yokowo will contribute to society as a good citizen.

  • Yokowo maintains an international outlook, respects the cultures and customs of the countries in which it operates, and cooperates with the international community in its corporate activities.

  • Yokowo will create comfortable working environments while securing safety in the workplace, and taking action to prevent labor accidents.

  • Yokowo will consider environmental conservation from the design phase of manufacturing products.
    2. Compliance
  • Yokowo will faithfully comply with national and international laws and standards and rules that it adopts to ensure sound business activities.

  • Yokowo will never provide hospitality to business partners or receive or give gifts to an extent that influences normal business relationships.

  • Yokowo will not act in ways that conflict with the interests of the Company, such as dealing with a certain party for the benefit of a competitor, business partner or employee. We will also clearly distinguish between personal and business matters and conduct clean and honest work.

  • Yokowo will not involve itself in insider trading that takes advantage of information obtained through work, nor will we act in ways that would invite allegations of such behavior.
    3. Respect for human rights
  • Yokowo respects human rights and will not discriminate based on nationality, gender, beliefs or age.

  • Yokowo rewards its employees and makes human resources decisions based on performance and accomplishments, and respects the creativity and personality of every individual.
    4. Fair trade
  • Yokowo will procure and sell products and services through fair, free and transparent competition.
    5. Prohibition on ties with antisocial groups
  • Yokowo takes a firm stance against antisocial groups that threaten social order or healthy corporate activities, and will never be involved with such groups.
